A picture-perfect bay
The valley opens onto a shingle bay with turquoise water, surrounded by rock walls several hundred metres high. At the back of the valley there is a small waterfall.
Where the name comes from
In summer the shady valley is home to many butterflies, including the Jersey tiger, a moth with orange wings. The valley is a protected area.
How to get there
The easiest way is by boat from Ölüdeniz. Many coastal boat trips stop here. A steep path also leads down from the village of Faralya, but it is only suitable for sure-footed hikers.
Good to know
- Wear sturdy shoes for the walk to the waterfall.
- Facilities in the valley are basic, so bring water and snacks.
- We can arrange the boat trip and the ride to Ölüdeniz.
