The beach
The beach stretches for several kilometres along the bay of Fethiye. It is made of sand and fine shingle and the water gets deeper gradually, which makes it pleasant for families with children too.
Sunsets and the promenade
Çalış is at its best in the evening, when the sun sets behind the islands in the gulf. Cafés, restaurants and small shops line the promenade, perfect for a stroll after dinner.
Wind and water sports
In the afternoon a fresh sea breeze often picks up. Windsurfers and kitesurfers love it, and it cools things down on hot days.
By water taxi to Fethiye
Small boats run across the bay from Çalış to Fethiye harbour. A relaxed alternative to the bus, with a view of the town from the water.

- Rent a bike from us; the promenade is long and flat.
- For the sunset, grab a table at one of the beach cafés.
